Our commitment

Our commitment

Living with an animal shouldn't cost the planet. Here's how we try to keep that promise.

🌱 Made with care — by PAWLY.
The fact

The pet care market is full of disposables

Look in any pet aisle: disposable sticky rollers, individually wrapped wet wipes, brushes that break in 3 months, vacuum bags to replace every 15 days. The model is sell, throw away, repurchase.

Result: a household with a pet generates on average several kilos of pet care waste per year. Multiplied by the millions of pet parents, that's tons of plastic ending up in landfill or incineration.

We found that absurd. We decided to do it differently.

Pillar #1

Reusable rather than disposable, always

This is our #1 rule, non-negotiable. Any product we launch must be usable hundreds or even thousands of times. Otherwise, we don't launch it.

The PAWLY Glove embodies this principle. A single glove, machine washable at 30°C, that follows you for several years of daily use. No consumables, no "refill" to repurchase.

  • Reusable and washable for life
  • No additional consumables to repurchase
  • Quality guaranteed for several years
  • If it ever wears out, recyclable like a textile garment
Pillar #2

Minimalist packaging, no unnecessary plastic

We've seen too many "eco" products arrive in 3 layers of plastic packaging. It's absurd, and it defeats the whole purpose.

At PAWLY, every glove is delivered in recycled and 100% recyclable cardboard. No plastic blister, no useless padding foam, no frills.

Pillar #3

A logistics that offsets its emissions

Shipping packages pollutes — we won't pretend otherwise. But we choose our logistics partners carefully: carriers who offset their carbon emissions, route optimization to limit empty kilometers, and pickup point network preferred by default.

On long distances, we group orders to optimize truck loading and reduce the unit impact of each parcel.

Pillar #4

Respect for animals, no compromise

We sell pet care, so the minimum is to respect animals from end to end. Specifically:

  • No animal testing, ever. We test on our own couches, cars and clothes.
  • Non-toxic textile material, certified free of harmful substances.
  • No chemical product added to the glove. No spray, no perfume.
  • The glove doesn't touch the animal. It's a textile cleaning tool, not a grooming brush. We designed it for your interior fabrics, not your companion's coat.
Pillar #5

Transparency, even when it's uncomfortable

We won't pretend we're perfect. PAWLY is a small starting team, with limited resources. We make choices, sometimes we miss, we learn.

What we commit to: tell you honestly where we stand. No greenwashing, no vague declarations. If you ask why we made such a decision, we answer. If you flag an inconsistency, we examine and correct it.

Our criterion is the consistency between what we sell and what we do. All the time.

What's next?

Our roadmap: doing better every year

We don't settle for the status quo. Every year, we set concrete goals to go further:

  • Research into even more sustainable materials (recycled microfiber, plant fibers)
  • Reduction in packaging weight to lower transport footprint
  • Setup of a take-back program for end-of-life gloves
  • Donation of a share of our revenue to animal welfare associations

If you have ideas or suggestions, we're listening. Our contact page is there for that.
